Alexandr Savca
Security engineer and systems programmer focused on source-code review, vulnerability research, low-level software, and network protocols. My work combines implementation review, vulnerability research, upstream engineering, and analysis of authority and failure boundaries in complex systems.
Entry Points
- Research — vulnerabilities, systems analysis, protocol and upstream work
- Projects — systems engineering, security tooling, and writing
- Curriculum Vitae — professional experience and background
Selected work
- Five CVE disclosures affecting Ruby libraries and network services
- Contributions to Wireshark (Oracle TNS protocol dissection)
- Linux kernel input subsystem contribution
- The Fieldbook — systems failure analysis, authority boundaries, invariants, and field method
- Zeppe-Lin — GNU/Linux systems and package-management architecture
The Fieldbook
The Fieldbook is a technical book on semantic authority, contracts and invariants, system drift, failure autopsy, and repair of long-lived infrastructure.
The same method informs my security work: establish where authority lives, trace trust and state across boundaries, test the invariants those boundaries are supposed to enforce, and account for operator practice and institutional memory when they materially affect system behavior.
Applied Cybernetic Necromancy in Haunted Infrastructure.
